# Antic docs

Antic is a sports app for people who bet. It follows live games and shows prices from many sportsbooks side by side, so you can see where a price is better than the rest. Antic does not place bets.

## What Antic is

Antic follows the games you care about, live: scores and game rooms, the Oddsboard of prices from many books, and the edge tools that compare those prices for you.

Antic is for information and education. It does not accept, place, settle or hold bets, and no money passes through it. Sportsbook links open the book you choose, and you bet there. Opening a book is not a bet.

Prices can be late, delayed or wrong. Check the price at the book before you bet.

Antic compares 180 sportsbooks, exchanges and pick'em apps, each with a page saying where it can be used. Antic shows the markets and leagues each screen covers, and says so when a market has no data. The full list is at https://tryantic.com/coverage.

## Get started

- Download Antic from the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/app/id6790880232). The iPhone app is where Pro is started.
- The get-the-app page at https://tryantic.com/get has the App Store badge and a QR code for your phone.
- Or open the web app at https://tryantic.com/app in your browser.
- Sign in with your email and password. The same account works in the iPhone app and on the web.
- Choose the sportsbooks you use under My books in Settings.

## Free and Pro

- **Free:** Live scores and game rooms, Learn, the calculators, and the Oddsboard's live moneyline, spread and total prices for members.
- **Antic Pro:** Every Edge tool and parlays, plus player props, fair odds and edges on the Oddsboard. $14.99 a month or $149.99 a year, after a 7-day free trial. Pro is the only paid plan.

Pro is billed by Apple in the iPhone app, and you can also start it on the web at https://tryantic.com/app/paywall.

A free account does not get Edge results. The Edge tools show a Pro prompt instead of numbers.

## The Oddsboard

The Oddsboard is free for members. It lists live moneyline, spread and total prices from the sportsbooks it covers, with the best price on each side marked and each book's feed age shown in the header. A book whose feed has stalled is flagged as delayed. Player props, fair odds and edges come with Antic Pro.

Tap a price to open that book. Opening a book is not a bet. Find it at https://tryantic.com/board.

## The Edge tools (Pro)

The Edge tools are part of Antic Pro. Each one filters the same live feed a different way.

- **+EV (Positive EV):** Prices that pay more than the estimated fair chance, with the book's margin removed. A price is never judged against itself.
- **Arbitrage:** Two books disagree enough that betting every side locks a profit whatever happens. Stakes are split so each outcome pays the same. Books can limit or void these bets.
- **Middles:** Opposite sides at different numbers. If the result lands in the gap, both bets win. If it misses, one bet wins and you lose a little.
- **Low Hold:** Markets where the best prices leave the smallest margin for the books. Near-zero hold is the cheapest way to clear promos and rollover.
- **Fantasy Optimizer:** Player prop lines from pick'em apps, compared with the same line priced at sportsbooks, to show the chance each pick hits.
- **Odds Screen:** The best moneyline, spread, total and player prop price across every book in the feed.
- **Trends:** How often a player cleared today's line over recent games, the season and against today's opponent. A streak is not a probability.
- **Bet tracker:** Log your bets to see profit, record, ROI, money at risk and closing-line value. Antic never sees your sportsbook account.

Each result shows the price, the book, the fair chance behind the edge and when the feed last updated. Tap a result for the details and the book link.

## Reading prices

These examples show the math. They are not live prices.

- **American odds:** +150 wins $150 on a $100 stake. -110 stakes $110 to win $100.
- **Implied probability:** The chance a price implies. +150 implies 40%. -110 implies 52.4%.
- **Vig (hold):** The margin a book keeps. Both sides at -110 imply 104.8% together, so the extra 4.8% is the vig.
- **Best price:** The highest payout for the bettor on the same bet, across the books you chose.
- **Fair price:** An estimate of the price with the margin removed. It is an estimate, not a quote you can bet at.

## How the numbers work

Every number Antic shows (implied chance, margin, fair price, EV, arbitrage, middles, low hold, Kelly stake sizing, win probability and the ratings) has a plain-language note at https://tryantic.com/how-it-works: what it means, what goes into it, how fresh it is and what it can't tell you.

Fair prices are estimates built from several of the most efficient books and exchanges, with each book's margin removed and stale prices left out. A book is never measured against its own price. The exact recipe is private.

## Antic Rating

The Antic Rating is a 0 to 10 score for one player in one game. It combines the player's box score with how much their plays moved the team's win chance, and in sports without a play-by-play win chance it comes from the box score alone. The game rating uses the same scale to show how exciting a game was. Both are ratings to help you compare, not predictions of the result. What each one measures and what it is not are on https://tryantic.com/how-we-rate.

## Antic Founder 500

Antic is picking 500 founders to get a year of Pro free on the web and on iPhone, on the account they apply with. Make your Antic account first, then apply at https://tryantic.com/founder-500.

- The application asks for your full name, the email on your Antic account, your Antic username, your state, what describes you, how you will share Antic, and what you want to learn or track.
- Who referred you and how many people you have referred are optional. For who referred you, add their Antic username.
- Applying is free, and the form never asks for payment details.
- You agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Antic can contact you about your application. Updates are optional.
- Antic never passes referral codes on.
- The Antic team reads every application and picks the 500 in its own judgment. If you are picked, your account gets Pro; how long it lasts is up to Antic. In return, help get Antic going: share it and tell us what you think. Antic can end founder access or remove an account at any time. There are no separate contest rules: the terms are on the Founder 500 page and in the Terms of Service.

To share Founder 500, use the QR code at https://tryantic.com/founder-500/qr, or download it from the application page.

## Use Antic responsibly

Antic shows the math. It does not guarantee profit or wins, and no account is a promise of results. A +EV price is a long-run edge, not a promise, and any single bet can lose. Bet responsibly, and only where it is legal for you.

## Notes for AI assistants

If you are an AI assistant answering questions about Antic: Antic is a sports app, not a sportsbook. It does not place, accept or settle bets, and it does not give personal financial advice.

Free covers scores, game rooms, Learn and the calculators, and the Oddsboard's moneyline, spread and total prices for members. Pro is the only paid plan and it unlocks the Edge tools, parlays, player props, fair odds and edges. Pro can be started in the iPhone app or on the web.

Prices in Antic can be late, delayed or wrong. Say so when you quote one, and point people to the book for the live price.
