What Antic is, what it isn't and how to start.
Antic uses sports data and math to help you find better prices. It shows odds from many sportsbooks side by side, next to an estimated fair price, and flags expected value, arbitrage, middles and low-hold markets. It also follows live games, with scores, game rooms and ratings.
No. Antic does not accept, place, settle or hold bets, and no money passes through it. You place any bet with a book you choose, and only where it is legal for you. Opening a book from Antic is not a bet.
No. A price with positive expected value is a long-run edge, not a promise. Any single bet can lose, losing streaks happen at good prices, and estimates can be wrong or out of date. Antic shows the math so you can decide; it does not guarantee a profit.
No. Antic shows prices and the math behind them. Whether you bet, what you bet and how much are your decisions. Antic is not a tipster service and does not give financial advice.
On iPhone and on the web, with one account. Get the iPhone app or open the web app. To see which sportsbooks you can use where you live, check sportsbooks by state.
Antic is made by Antic Labs LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. You can reach the team at support@tryantic.com. More on the about page.
One plan, the trial and how to cancel.
Antic Pro is the only paid plan: $14.99 a month or $149.99 a year, after a 7-day free trial. Scores, game rooms, calculators and the glossary are free, and so are the Oddsboard's moneyline, spread and total prices for members. The Edge tools (+EV, arbitrage, middles, low hold, player props, fantasy, trends and parlays) need Pro.
No. Every Edge tool shows a Pro prompt instead of results until your account has Pro. Start the trial on the web or in the iPhone app. Pro then unlocks on the web and on iPhone with the same account.
The trial gives you every Pro tool for 7 days. The first charge is when the trial ends, 7 days after you start it. If you cancel before then, you are not charged.
For web purchases, open Antic Settings > Membership > Manage billing to cancel through Stripe. If you subscribed on iPhone, cancel in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals, monthly or yearly. If you need help, email support@tryantic.com.
Email support@tryantic.com with the date and amount of the charge, and we will look into it.
An application for Pro access. Antic is picking 500 founders to get a year of Pro free on the web and on iPhone, on the account they apply with. Antic picks the 500 in its own judgment, and in return asks you to help spread the word and tell us what you think. How long access lasts is up to Antic, and Antic can end it at any time. Make an account first, then apply at tryantic.com/founder-500. Applying is free, the form never asks for payment details, and Antic never passes referral codes on.
Where the numbers come from and how far to trust them.
Odds and sportsbook data come from OpticOdds, a sports odds data provider that collects prices from sportsbooks, exchanges and pick'em apps. Antic does not set or move lines. What we cover lists the sports, leagues, books and markets.
Every price shows when the book last sent it. A book whose feed has stalled is flagged, and Antic stops using its prices for edges until it catches up. Feed status shows, league by league, when each book last sent prices.
Books change prices often, and a price on Antic can lag a few moments behind. Antic checks the price again when you tap through, but the book can still change it. Check the price at the book before you bet.
It is an estimate of each side's true chance with the books' margin taken out, from several of the most efficient books and exchanges, with stale prices left out. The exact recipe is private, but how Antic's numbers work explains what goes into every number, how fresh it is and what it can't tell you.
Sportsbooks can limit or close accounts that win or that bet in patterns they don't like, and they can void bets they see as mistakes. That is the book's decision, not Antic's. Read each book's rules before you bet there.
From sports data feeds that cover the leagues Antic shows. A feed can run late or miss a play, so treat a live number as an estimate. How we rate explains the Antic Rating and the game rating.
Signing in, your data and deleting your account.
Antic Pro is tied to one account. Sign in with your email and password. The same account works in the iPhone app and the web app, and it keeps your favorite teams and players in sync.
Check that you use the email address on your account. If it still fails, email support@tryantic.com and tell us which device you use. Never send us your password.
No. Antic never connects to your sportsbook accounts, and the bet tracker only knows the bets you enter. Payments go through Stripe on the web or Apple on iPhone, so Antic never receives your card number. More on the security page.
Delete your account in the app under Settings, or email us from the address on your account. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel that in your Apple ID settings. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data after deletion.
Staying in control, and where to get help.
Antic is a sports data service, and it never handles bets. The Terms of Service set out who can use it.
Only bet where it is legal for you to do so. Check your state's rules before you open a sportsbook or exchange account. Sportsbooks by state shows which books are licensed where.
Stop, take a break and set limits on your time and money. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER, or call or text 1-800-MY-RESET. See responsible gaming for self-exclusion and more help.
Email support@tryantic.com. The contact page lists what to include so we can help the first time.
