Key points
18+
Antic is a sports data service for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
What we collect
Your account and profile, what you post and send, your settings, synced favorites and tracked bets, Founder 500 applications, support emails, your subscription status and basic technical logs.
What we don't collect
No card numbers, no sportsbook logins, balances or betting history, and no precise GPS location. We estimate your state only to pre-select books.
No selling, no ad tracking
We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted ads. The website has no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.
Who helps us
Service providers such as Supabase, Railway, Cloudflare, Resend, Google and Apple process data for us. Our odds provider, OpticOdds, doesn't receive your personal information.
Your choices
Edit your profile or make it private, turn off notifications, unsubscribe from updates, and delete your account in Settings at any time.
This is a summary
The numbered sections below are the full policy, including our cookie notice in section 7.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Antic Labs LLC ("Antic," "we," "us" or "our") runs the Antic iPhone app, the website at tryantic.com, the Antic web app and related services (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It doesn't cover sportsbooks, prediction markets or other third-party services you reach through Antic. They have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Account and sign-in
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider only in hashed form. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive what that service shares with us, such as your email address and an account identifier, and from Google possibly your name and profile picture. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we receive a private relay address instead of your email.
Profile
Your username, display name, bio, profile photo, favorite teams and players, and whether your profile is public or private.
Community content and messages
What you post and send, including game room chat, posts, reactions, photos, direct messages, follows, check-ins and badges, along with details such as the game, time and audience. We also record reports you file and members you block.
Settings and synced data
Your sportsbook selections, bankroll and bet-size settings, favorites, notification choices, and bets you log in the tracker. When you're signed in, we sync these to your account so the iPhone app and the website match.
Founder 500 applications
When you apply, the form sends us your name, email address, Antic username if you have one, state, how you describe yourself, your plans and goals, referral details, and your agreement to the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, which includes email from Antic. Applications are delivered by email to our support inbox; they are not saved in our app database. To stop duplicate and automated applications, our server briefly keeps your IP address and a one-way hash of your email address in memory, for no more than about a day.
Purchases and subscription status
In the iPhone app, Antic Pro is sold through Apple's App Store, and Apple processes the payment; we use RevenueCat to learn your subscription status (such as trial, active or expired) and related records like product and renewal dates. On the website, Antic Pro is sold through our payment processor, Stripe, and we receive the status and records we need, not your full card number. We don't receive your card details from either.
Push notifications (iPhone app)
If you allow notifications, we store a push token for your device, basic device details needed to deliver notifications (such as platform and app version), and the notification categories you choose.
Support and email
When you email us, we keep your message and our reply. We also keep your email preferences, such as whether you've unsubscribed from updates.
Technical information
Our servers and hosting providers receive technical information when you use the Service, such as your IP address, request times, browser or device type, the pages or features requested, and error logs. We use it to run, secure and troubleshoot the Service.
What we don't collect
We don't collect precise GPS location, your contacts, your sportsbook usernames or passwords, your sportsbook balances or betting history from any book, or your card details.
3. Approximate location
Which sportsbooks you can use depends on your state, so Antic tries to start you on the right list of books.
- On the website and in the iPhone app, your browser or device may look up your approximate state from your IP address using a third-party geolocation service, ipwho.is, with ipapi.co as a backup. Only the state is kept: in your browser on the website, and in your settings in the app.
We use this only to pre-select sportsbooks that are likely available to you. It isn't a decision that betting is legal for you, we don't use it for advertising, and you can change your state at any time.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and run your account, sign you in, and provide the features you use
- show your profile and posts to the audiences you choose, and deliver your messages
- sync your settings, favorites and tracked bets between the app and the website
- pre-select sportsbooks likely available in your state
- confirm your Pro status and unlock Pro features
- review Founder 500 applications and contact you about them
- send service emails, the alerts and notifications you turn on, and Antic news and product updates (you agreed to them in the Terms of Service and can unsubscribe at any time)
- answer support requests
- moderate content, handle reports and blocks, enforce our Terms, and prevent fraud, spam and abuse
- keep the Service secure, fix problems, and improve reliability and performance
- comply with the law and protect the rights and safety of Antic, our members and others
We don't use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. How we share information
Service providers
We share information with companies that run parts of the Service for us. They may use it only to provide their services to us:
- Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in
- Railway: hosting for our website and API servers
- Cloudflare: domain and network services, our sign-in gateway, and email routing for support@tryantic.com
- Resend: sending email, including Founder 500 applications and confirmations
- Google: the inbox where support@tryantic.com messages and Founder 500 applications arrive, and Google sign-in if you choose it
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, and push notification delivery
- RevenueCat: subscription status and purchase records
- Expo: push notification delivery for some versions of the iPhone app
- ipwho.is and ipapi.co: approximate state lookup from your IP address, on the website and in the iPhone app
- Stripe: payment processing for website purchases
Data providers don't receive your personal information
Our odds provider, OpticOdds, and our scores and sports data feeds send data to us. Our servers request that data without sending your name, email address, account or other personal information.
Other members
Your username, display name, profile photo, public profile details and anything you post publicly can be seen by other members. Direct messages can be seen by the people in the conversation.
Services you connect
If you connect another service, such as Discord where offered, we share what's needed to make that connection work.
Legal and safety
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that the law, a subpoena or other legal process requires it, or that it's needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Antic, our members or others, or to enforce our Terms.
Business transfers
If Antic is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that deal, subject to this policy or one at least as protective.
6. No selling and no targeted advertising
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, as those terms are defined in California and other state privacy laws. We haven't done either in the past 12 months. We don't put third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the website. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of selling and sharing, which we already don't do.
We use sensitive personal information, such as your account login, only to provide the Service and as the law allows.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We don't use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics on tryantic.com.
Browser storage the website uses
The website saves a few things in your browser's local storage so it works the way you set it up:
- your sign-in session, so you stay signed in (removed when you sign out)
- your settings, such as your state, bankroll and tool preferences
- drafts, such as a parlay slip or a post waiting to send, and your recent searches
- small markers, such as which updates and notifications you've already seen
These stay on your device until you remove them or clear your browser data.
Cookies
Our hosting and network providers may set cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver and protect the website. If you sign in with Google or Apple, they set their own cookies on their own sites. Development copies of Antic have two test switches stored as cookies, one to open the app without an account and one to preview Pro. They work only on a developer's own computer and never run on tryantic.com.
Your controls
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Features like staying signed in or remembering your state will stop working until you set them again. Because we don't track you across sites, we don't change how the website works in response to "Do Not Track" signals.
8. Emails and push notifications
We send service emails, such as account confirmations, password resets, receipts, security notices and Founder 500 messages. When you agree to the Terms of Service, you also agree to Antic news and product updates by email; every one has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in the email or by emailing support@tryantic.com.
Push notifications in the iPhone app are optional. Choose categories in Antic's settings, or turn them off in your device settings (on iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Antic). Turning them off doesn't affect your account.
9. How long we keep information
- Account, profile, settings and synced data: while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify this information, generally within 30 days.
- Content you post: until you delete it or your account. Copies that other members already shared may remain with them.
- Founder 500 applications: in our support inbox for as long as we need them to run the program, and no longer than [Founder 500 retention period], then deleted.
- Support emails: as long as needed to help you and keep a record of the request.
- Subscription records: as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
- Technical logs: for a limited period set by our hosting providers.
- Browser storage: on your device until you clear it.
We may keep some information longer when the law requires it, or to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.
10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, database access rules that limit who can read each record, keeping secret keys on our servers, and restricted access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11. Your choices and rights
Choices in the Service
- edit your profile, username, favorites and settings
- make your profile private
- delete content you've posted, where the feature allows it
- report or block members
- turn notifications on or off, and unsubscribe from update emails
- change the state and sportsbooks pre-selected for you
Deleting your account
Delete your account in Settings in the iPhone app or on the website, or email support@tryantic.com from your account's email address. This removes your profile, chat, alerts and settings. It doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; cancel that in your Apple Account settings.
Access, correction, deletion and copies
Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@tryantic.com. We will verify the request, usually by confirming it comes from your account's email address, and answer within the time the law requires.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and share, and get a copy of it
- correct inaccurate information
- delete information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we don't do these)
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only to provide the Service)
- appeal our decision on your request
- be treated the same whether or not you use these rights
To make a request, email support@tryantic.com. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority and verify your identity. To appeal a decision, reply to it or email us with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
California notice
In the past 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as email address, username, account ID and IP address), customer and commercial records (such as subscription status), internet and device activity, approximate location derived from IP address, sensitive personal information (account login), and the content of posts and messages you create. We collect them from you, your device, and the services you sign in with or buy through, for the purposes in section 4. We disclose them to the service providers in section 5 and keep them as described in section 9. We respond to verified requests within 45 days, as the law allows.
Outside the United States
Antic is built for users in the United States. If you use it from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. We process personal data to provide the Service to you, for our legitimate interests such as security, moderation and improving the Service, to comply with the law, and with your consent where required.
12. Children
Antic is a sports data service for people 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@tryantic.com and we will delete it.
13. Where information is processed
Antic is run from the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you use Antic from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
14. Sportsbooks and other third-party sites
Antic links to sportsbooks, prediction markets and other sites. When you follow a link, you leave Antic, and that site's privacy policy covers what it collects, including anything you give it when you sign up or deposit. We aren't responsible for how third parties handle your information.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell you before it takes effect, in the app, on the website or by email, and update the date at the top. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, the updated policy applies.
