How Antic protects your account.

• Row-level access rules

  The database checks who you are on every read and write.

• Keys stay on the server

  Provider, payment and email keys never reach your browser or phone.

• No card numbers

  Pro is paid through Apple or Stripe. Antic never sees your card.

• Private means private

  Other members can't read your direct messages.

• Report and block

  Report any message. Blocking ends direct messages and follows.

• Delete any time

  Remove your account and its data from Settings.

• Sign in with your email and password.
• Passwords are stored by our authentication provider only in hashed form. We never see or store them in plain text.
• If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we receive a private relay address instead of your email.
• Your sign-in token goes with every request for account data, and the database checks it before returning anything.

• Member data is guarded by access rules the database itself enforces, whatever app or tool sends the request.
• Members can write only as themselves. A request can't post, edit or delete as another member.
• The server sets the display name on chat messages, and it can't be changed afterwards, so nobody can pose as someone else in a room.

• Credentials for our data, payment and email providers are held on our servers only. They are never placed in the app, the website or browser code.
• Only values meant to be public reach browsers and phones.
• We don't publish which providers or internal systems hold which credentials, and we rotate credentials when a need arises.

• In the iPhone app, Antic Pro is bought through Apple's in-app purchase; Apple handles the trial, the charge, renewals and cancellation.
• On the web, Stripe handles the card and the charge. Either way, Antic never receives your card number.
• Billing events are verified before they change anyone's access. An unverified event is refused, and Stripe events are accepted only with a valid Stripe signature.
• Pro access is decided on the server for every Edge tool request. Hiding a paywall in the browser doesn't unlock any data.

• The site and the app talk to our servers over HTTPS.
• Our API sends security headers, allows browser requests only from Antic's own sites, and rate-limits traffic so one client can't overwhelm it.

• Direct messages can be seen only by the people in the conversation.
• We look at private messages only when needed to run the service, when a message is reported to us, to protect someone's safety, or when the law requires it.
• Report any room message, comment or direct message for spam, harassment, hate, sexual content, violence or another reason.
• Blocking someone ends follows and direct messages between you, and you stop seeing each other's messages.

• Make your profile private, turn off notifications or edit your profile at any time.
• Delete your account in Settings. This removes your profile, chat, alerts and settings.
• On the web, the bet tracker and betting preferences are saved in your browser.
• We don't sell personal information, and the website has no advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

• Antic is a sports data service. It never takes or places bets.
• Turn off notifications, sign out, or cancel Pro at any time.
• Delete your account in Settings, or email us and we'll help you close it.

Antic does not hold a SOC 2 report or ISO 27001 certification today. We'll list a certification or an outside audit here only once it has been completed.

Antic is not a sportsbook and is not licensed to accept wagers, because it doesn't accept them. Any bet you make is placed with the licensed book you choose, under its rules.
