Expected value is what a bet is worth on average. Multiply the chance of winning by what you'd win, subtract the chance of losing times your stake. Use a no-vig fair probability rather than a guess: the Antic +EV tool works it out from live prices for you. Positive-EV bets are expected to come out ahead over enough volume, though any single bet can lose.
A $100 bet at +110 that wins 50% of the time: 0.5 × $110 won − 0.5 × $100 lost = +$5.00, or +5% of the stake on average.
Live +EV bets are part of Antic Pro.
What a bet is worth on average if its price is right. A +EV price pays more than the fair price.
The fair price for each side once the book's margin is removed from the market.
Bets priced above their no-vig fair odds. The same math, run live on every book.
Calculators show math, not advice. Antic never places bets. Bet only where it is legal for you.
